Since subscribing to Anthropic’s Max plan, Claude Code has completely taken over my development workflows. Once I subscribed to the Max plan, I stopped worrying about torching tokens and fully embraced the power of this incredible tool.
Claude Code is turning my terminal into my central hub and command center for project work. I need to convert some images to png’s, resize them, and move them to the assets directory? No worries, Claude’s got it.
Claude Code knows every Git trick, all the sed options, and how to use tools you didn’t even know your computer had. If you need it to dig a bit deeper into a specific program, tell it to read the man pages!

Currently, in Claude Code, these tools are things like Git, GitHub, and a range of powerful Unix utilities and terminal tools.
Soon, there will be tools for all the things. Your agent will be able to interact with your Calendar, Email, or anything else that is a part of your digital workflow.
If you haven’t tried Claude Code yet, give it a week using pay-per-usage or with the $20 plan. Read through the Tutorials in their documentation for optimum results.
Don’t limit it to basic code generation tasks, try to delegate as much of your workflow as possible. Like any other skill, your prompting and results will improve as you get more practiced.
When you become a power user after your trial period, subscribe to Max and try to put Anthropic out of business.
You probably won’t get an extra four hours by the pool like in the AI agent TV commercials — but you will get a hell of a lot more done in a few hours than you used to.
